Bright colours for HLS June 23

Namaste, welcome to new calendar month and new challenge at HLS water colour challenge. This month the challenge is to use cue word BRIGHT. Click here to learn more abput challenge rules and inspiration.

I stamped image from SSS and coloured with Zig markers. First lets talk a little about behind the screen, when i actually read challenge theme i was bit confused as how to execute the word BRIGHT in card. Then few of my fellow team members suggested me to use fun bright summer colours and I hate summer, i just dont like it. So nothing striked to me then at the end i had to clean my mind, unlearn definition of BRIGHT and go to pintrest for colour suggestions.

Now coming back to my card, i fussy cut the floral image along one side and stamped a small sentiment at one end. Then foam mounted the coloured panel on embossed card base.

Hope my card justifies the word BRIGHT. What do you think,? let me know in the comment..

Ice cream Birthday cards for AAA birthday challenge #42

Namaste, to everyone. I am here to share my take on the current challenge at AAA Birthday challenges. The theme is FAVOURITE TECHNIQUE. My favourite technique is CAS, I love CAS cards. For more details on the challenge and inspiration please visit the link HERE

I love ink blending alot but now due to humid climate and followed by monsoon rains all my inkpads are dead dry and its story of every year so i am avoiding reinking my ink pads, i so so miss ink blending. Mean while I am practicing colouring mediums and pencil colouring has become my go to and favorites technique as its mess free and easy to carry.

I used SSS stamp set and coloured images with polychromo pencils. Sentiments are from same set. Used a few dies to assemble cards. I made total 4 cards.

In real glasses look so dark and blue but in photo they look so pale. Should add more colours from next time.

Please any suggestions, tips to improve my pencil colouring..
