A Beautiful Friend – HLS May 23

Namaste, welcome to my blog and its that time of month where we start new challenge at HLS die challenge. Its Anything goes with dies. So what are waiting for lets get crafty and enter HERE.

I bought these spellbinders die few months back and never had a chance to use them. So thought will use now. They say these mini slimline dies but the card is of slim card. Thats of bit surprising for me. Yes i did check product description still didnt think it will this big. Anyway i loved the card at the end of the day and that what matters. Isnt it?

I started with the sentient and then worked my way out to finish the card. I really took long time to finish this card as such layered card is not my place.

I embellished the card with tiny flowers from spellbinders. Love how those tiny flowers add so much interest to the card. I also dry embossed the white panel in the background with spellbinders embossing folder.

For every blue layer i added a golden die cut to add shadow and interst to the card design.

Tiny boxes – HLS die challenge 04/2023

Namaste, welcome to new challenge at HLS die challenge. Its anything goes with dies. If you would like to know more about the challenge and want to have more inspiration then look here.

I made these tiny boxes for gifting. I so so loved these. I am having so much fun using this kaleidoscope dies from spellbinders. I think in die category these my most used dies. They get in so well with any theme and design.

I made just 3 boxes. Few months back my cousin got married wish i had this idea, so that these could carry marriage gifts. May be in future but she is the last one in cousin list. So need to wait alot for using them.

I am finding these boxes so cute that i want to buy more and more such dies but my resolution for now is DON’T buy unless use the stash. Its hard to stick on my decision but not impossible.

CAS birthday card AAA #45

Namaste, welcome to my blog. Its new calendar year and new challenge at AAA birthday challenge. The theme of the challenge is Anything goes with birthday theme. For more details visit blog here.

Ink blending was always my favourite technique. But right now all my ink pads are dry so i cant use them. Its story of every year so i stopped reinking them. But for the first challenge of the calendar year so I ink blended small piece of paper and die cut it to make my card center and stamped a small sentiment which fits perfectly in this small space.

I dry embossed the card panel and added the ink blended piece on card front. For interest i used silver thread behind the sentiment and few enamel dots.

For this post I wanted to make something special. I made this card for a special person in my life now thats Katraina Folkman. She is an influencer, life couch. She really changed my life in better way. Coming to my post, I used many spellbinders dies and creative expressions die for the card. The KALASH die is from Dress my craft.

I know many artist who make more gorgeous cards than this but this card blew my mind and filled me with confidence that i can make such layered cards too.

1 die set 3 cards – HLS DIE CHALLENGE

Namaste… Welcome once again to my blog. Today is a new challenge at Happy little stampers Die challenge and the theme is Anything goes with does. To know more about challenge and for more inspiration visit HERE.

Let’s know about my take on the challenge. I had a gala time doing these cards. I had so many scraps and I wanted to use them so I Took spellbinders kaleidoscope dies.

Next task was to arrange them. I made 3 cards. Used simple sentiments. I made score lines on card bases for more interest.

Happy little Stampers – Water colour challenge, January

Hi.. Here I am with my first post for 2020. I am joining Happy Little Stampers for next term. I am sharing my water colour card here.

Here is my take on the challenge

I was hoarding this die set from Altenew so thought of putting it into use. Fist I die cut all layers in white card stock. Then i applied light wash of water colours, kept applying colours till I was satisfied. I left them air dry, added few spritz of water to add texture.
To define edges I ran a green ink pad over the card edges and the die cut. I stamped sentiment on he die cut and foam mounted it on the card base towards upper right side of card base. Then glued my floral arrangement on the card base. Added clear droplet to the card.

Love the effect from water droplets.

Love how defined edges add dimension to the otherwise simple die cut.

Altenew September challenge – With Indian Touch

Hi…

Today I am with a quick card. I wanted to participate in Altenew September challenge from day one, just because colour scheme looked challenging for me. But, couldn’t for one or the other reason. Today decided to make one at-last, so here is my card.

The colour scheme is from Altenew September challenge

I stamped images from Altenew hennah elements, coloured with Staedtler pencils. Used a border die and foam mounted the panel on top folding yellow card base. Foam mounted the heat embossed sentiment on card, Sentiment is custom which in Samskruta. Added few sequins and few splatters of black soot.

Layered die cuts + Altenew painted flower

Hi…

Here I am with another simple card.

 I stamped flowers with altenew inks and fussy cut them. I felt like adding something extra to flowers so i drew few lines over flowers n leaves with versa mark pen and heat embossed with iridescent embossing powder. 

Then I die cut two layers from spellbinders die from white CS, layered them on card base measuring 5×7″.

Sentiment is from Altenew Beautiful day.

Heartfelt creations and water colouring

Hi..

Today I am with my first attempt in colouring Heart felt creations stamp.
I used Fuchsia bouquet stamp. I tried no line water colouring. I know as a beginner its difficult for me but thought will try.

I stamped the image on water colour paper with antique linen distress ink.
Used zig markers to water colour. Then used light grey marker to colour around the bouquet to give halo around the coloured image. It really made the coloured image pop a bit. Stamped sentiment in black.

Then i used spellbinders die to cut the panel and glued it flat on side folding card.

Thats the card…

PS : Its looking better in photo than in real 😦

Ink blending – Hero arts Neon inks

Hi… Friends

Here is the first card for the day. Its a simple card (though i never tried for difficult one 😉 ). For this The Inspiration is Laura Bassen’s ink blending.

I used a die to cut a window on an acetate sheet. then used hero arts neon colours to blend them with ink-blending tool. Used SSS birthday stamp set n stamped with memento black ink. its 5×7″ card.
