Set of cards for an ORGANIZATION

Namaste, welcome to my blog and it’s time for new challenge at HLS blog for dies. The theme is anything goes with dies. More details click here

I came across an organization run by a couple who collects handmade cards for hospitals, patients and healthcare workers. I felt so happy to know because being a reason for someone’s smile is so precious that too when you don’t know the person. If you want to know more about them click here.

So keeping in mind this need I made set of birthday cards. I used Altenew dies, I specially wanted to use the U die. It’s so big that it covers the card panel and you don’t need anything much.

I used die cut inlay and monogram technique for the card set. Here are my cards.

I actually used every bit of the backgrounds I created. Positive and negative of the die cuts are used. I could stretch them even more but held myself. May be next time again.

Is there any personal favourite from this set? Let me know in comments.

Tags for the change

Namaste.. welcome to my post for new challenge at Happy little stampers. I am so excited to join Stencil challenge for this term. So to mark new beginning I thought of making tags instead of card.

Visit challenge blog here for more details.

I coloured these flowers with brustro water colours, fussy cut them. I thought of making tags this time. Flower images are from Altenew and stencils are from sss, sentiment from sss.

I loved these, may be I make a lot of tags in coming days..

Which is your favourite among both tags.

Love you always. .

Namaste,

Hope and pray everyone is safe and doing good. Today I am here to share a card i made few days back. Its been a while I stitched so thought will make cards with stitched elements. It is 3rd in the serious. If missed please check my Instagram for all posts as its hard to blog alk cards.

Coming to the card, i used pegboard die from Altenew for my background. Used a few anchr threads.

I thought a beautiful frame from mamaelephant will emphasis my stitched background.

Sentiment die and stamp from Simon says stsmp. I thought soft vellum foliage will bring the card together. Foliage are white heat embossed.

Mounted panel on a green card base and added few enamel dots.

  • I fussy cut the images and put thin coat of glossy accent on the ice cream portion.
  • I prepped my card base by stamping sentiment and stripes with distress inks.
  • Then glued ice cream cones towards bottom center of he card.

Here is closer look at those stripes.

Glossy accent adds life to those ice cream scoops.

Word die background card

Hi…
Friends…
I made this card few days back. Its a 5×7 ” top folding card. I adhered word die cuts diagonally on a panel of grey card stock which measures 4×7″.
I cut few hearts from white fun foam and same sentiment die from red foam. Heat embossed the supporting sentiment on same card stock and adhered everything on front panel.
Used border stamp and heat embossed on card base. To tie up everything i heat embossed another strip of card stock.
Mounted the card front with foam tape.
