Namaste.. Welcome to my blog.. I am so delighted to join AAA birthday card challenges. I always loved playing AAA birthday card challenges, they are fun and birthday cards are always needed. So this month’s challenege is ANYTHING GOES WITH BIRTHDAY. For more details about the challenge and rules click here.

For my take i made a simple pencil coloured floral card. I am not a colouring fan for self but i do love ppl colour. I can never get such smooth blends and dreamy colouring effects they give. But sometimes i do like to colour just because i am hoarding so many colouring mediums. One such medium is my PRISMA colour pencils, which i rarely use just because of my toddler. Both are precious to me so keeping both away as much as possible. Do you relate ???

Too much of chit chat, lets look at my card. I used Pretty pink posh floral images and sentiment comes from Simon says stamp. Stencil from ALtenew.

Colouring the WORLD

My card inspired by my son who will be turning 3 in few days and he is the one who making everything colourful. Right from white bed spread to all my coloured and fussy cut images. Jokes apart, yes he has filled so many colours to my world. Colour of patience,colour of anger, colour o love, colour of tiredness and colour of HAPPINESS.

Image is from Neat and tangled and sentiment I really forgot from where. If you have any idea let me know in the comment.

I used various prisma colour pencils to colour the image. Use MFT rectangle die to cut the panel and glued on a white card base.

ATSM #391 Anything Goes

Hello friends.. Swapna here.. Its time for new challenge at Addicted to stamps and more. And the theme is everyone’s favourite “Anything goes”. Click here for more details and inspiration from other dt members..

Here is my take on the challenge.

I stamped images from MFT party like pirates and coloured with prisma pencils.
Fussy cut the images.
I prepped the panel by ink blending with distress inks in brown shades.
I used blue shades to ink blend on another panel.
I used dies to cut the brown panel and made waves,clouds with border dies.
Then foam mounted the brown panel on white card base.
Cloud and wave pieces are glued flat.
Arranged images on the card front.
Stamped sentiment and few birds.
That finishes my card.

Now coming to my take on the challenge.
This Calendar year I have decided to use my colour pencils more and more. I have been hoarding them for 3 long years. I was never confident about my blending and never had the push to break my myth. This challenge will sure improve my confidence in pencil colouring.

To start with I chose a simple image from Birch press designs.
