Tags with water coloured florals

Namaste.. Welcometomy blog.. Today is a new challenge at HLS water colour challenge, and its ANYTHING GOES with water colours. For more details on the challenge click here

I am trying to use as much as possible the pre coloure images. Its some what challenging to me to use already existing elements rather creating one. So here are 2 tags I made.

Tag dies are from SSS, floral images from Altenew and Paper trey ink and sentiment from Hero arts.

Thank you for visiting

Just saying hello

Namaste to everyone.

I hope and pray everyone is doing good and staying safe.

Today I am sharing a dimensional floral card I created. I love such dimensional card but I am not at all good at them. Once in a while I get lucky and make one such card. I have used 3layers of petals for each flower.

I made this card using all My Favourite Things dies. I used distress inks to colour flowers, in the background i used mft rectangle frame dinamics and went over borad with flower arrangment so much that one can’t make it out. I love the shimmer of perfect pearls.

I used Hero arts stamp for sentiment, which heat embossed on a black strip of cs. I created background using distress inks on HNDMD handmade water colour cs, I am in love with this cs.

I am entering this card to

ATSM #395 – Photo prompt

Hello. friends..
Swapna here and its time for new challenge at Addicted to stamps and more. This is my last post too for ATSM. Our new challenge is up on the blog and the theme is PHOTO INSPIRATION. Click here for more details on the challenge and more inspirations from other DT members.
Coming to my take on the challenge
  • I first secured a water colour paper on a card board o avoid warping as I had planned to use lots of water.
  • I stamped a background image with versamark ink and gold heat embossed the image.
  • Then I scribbled few colours on the panel with my zig markers.
  • Then I sprayed water so that colour moves and blends of its own.
  • Left the panel to air dry.
  • Then trimmed the panel into two card fronts.
  • Foam mounted panel on a red card base.
  • Heat embossed sentiment and die cut it out.
  • Matted it with one size big Vellum circle and foam mounted on the card.

Hope you liked the card.
Thank you

Lets call for critters

Hi.. Friends its time for new challenge at A Blog Named Hero. This month our challenge is “Lets call for Critters” and we are collaborating with none other than Lawn Fawn which have amazingly cute critters in stamping world.

Here is cute and simple card I made.

  • I prepared side folding a2 card base and ran it through embossing folder.
  • Stamped images from lawn fawn chit chat set and coloured with zig markers. Fussy cut the images leaving a white border.
  • Stamped sentiment on white strip, sentiment comes from Hero arts Every day sentiments.
  • Used corner rounder for sentiment strip, foam mounted it on card base and birds were glued with liquid glue.

Here is closer look at the next generation embossing.

5th Birthday celebration of A Blog Named Hero

Hello,Welcome to my blog,

We at A Blog Named Hero are celebrating 5th birthday of the blog. I am so happy that I am the part of Current team A Blog Named hero .

I used Hero arts layering flamingo and Hero arts May’s shades of pink and fussy cut it out.

I stamped  grass from same set on a rectangle panel using two shades of green with rock and roll technique. Used two more colours to bend on same panel. Stamped striped background on card base and mounted the rectangle panel on it.

White heat embossed sentiment and foam mounted on the panel. Later i felt like adding more dimension, shimmer and shine to the flamingo so I applied wink-of-stella and glossy accent on the body.
