Namaste, welcome to my blog and its that time of month where we start new challenge at HLS die challenge. Its Anything goes with dies. So what are waiting for lets get crafty and enter HERE.
I bought these spellbinders die few months back and never had a chance to use them. So thought will use now. They say these mini slimline dies but the card is of slim card. Thats of bit surprising for me. Yes i did check product description still didnt think it will this big. Anyway i loved the card at the end of the day and that what matters. Isnt it?
I started with the sentient and then worked my way out to finish the card. I really took long time to finish this card as such layered card is not my place.
I embellished the card with tiny flowers from spellbinders. Love how those tiny flowers add so much interest to the card. I also dry embossed the white panel in the background with spellbinders embossing folder.
For every blue layer i added a golden die cut to add shadow and interst to the card design.
Namaste, welcome to my space and i am here to share my cards for AAA BIRTHDAY challenge for february. Please make note that AAA birthday challenge is now monthly challenge it starts on 1st of the month. The theme is to use stencil. For more details visit here.
I literally struggled to make tjesecards. My plan was to ink blend but most of my inkpads are dry so i couldnt as i didnt get the right colour combination i wanted. So at the end i used embossing paste and embossing powder to make my card front.
I used wow embossing powders for the cards. Btw i have those die cut pieces which for sure you will see son in my posts on Instagram. @thedreampages1021
After joining AAA BIRTHDAY challenges i have kept few birthday sets in my reach so i can grab them quickly while making cards.. Thats why you see few sentiments again and again..
Hope you liked my cards, let me know which colour combination you liked. I hope you will join us at AAA BIRTHDAY challenges. Stay safe and keep crafting.
Namaste, Swapna here with my next post for Crealise, First let me share something about crealise dies. They add so many extra inner dies so it becomes so easy to do die cutting fun. When you buy any interactive dies you will realize it.
Lets talk about my today’s post. Cards are self exploratory so not much photos.
I used the sentiment Happy, horizontal one with the frame and ran through die cutting machine with different colour card stocks. Glued them on a panel diagonally. And before gluing the took sentiment printout and that was a task for me as a person who doesnt like computer works. Added few enamel dots for accent.
I used vertical sentiment with inner die for this card. I used smaller panel for this card and kept gluing the sentiments, I actually ran out of die cuts so on the last line i added plain die cut so it gives enough space after sentiment. I scored diagonal lines on card base to added some texture and break all those vertical lines going on. Added few enamel dots as accents.
Card no 3
It’s the simplest as I had lot of plain die cuts I just arranged them on a panel and cut the panel in circle shape. And I took print out of sentiment on a coloured card stock and die cut it out to put on the panel.
Thank you so much for dropping by hope to see you soon again with another post soon..
Namaste, welcome to my blog and it’s time for new challenge at HLS blog for dies. The theme is anything goes with dies. More details click here
I came across an organization run by a couple who collects handmade cards for hospitals, patients and healthcare workers. I felt so happy to know because being a reason for someone’s smile is so precious that too when you don’t know the person. If you want to know more about them click here.
So keeping in mind this need I made set of birthday cards. I used Altenew dies, I specially wanted to use the U die. It’s so big that it covers the card panel and you don’t need anything much.
I used die cut inlay and monogram technique for the card set. Here are my cards.
I actually used every bit of the backgrounds I created. Positive and negative of the die cuts are used. I could stretch them even more but held myself. May be next time again.
Is there any personal favourite from this set? Let me know in comments.
Namaste… Welcome once again to my blog. Today is a new challenge at Happy little stampers Die challenge and the theme is Anything goes with does. To know more about challenge and for more inspiration visit HERE.
Let’s know about my take on the challenge. I had a gala time doing these cards. I had so many scraps and I wanted to use them so I Took spellbinders kaleidoscope dies.
Next task was to arrange them. I made 3 cards. Used simple sentiments. I made score lines on card bases for more interest.
Here are close-up of each card
Which is your favourite? Mine is orange card, because I didn’t think much about placing the circuits, just let myself free..
Swapna here and its time for new challenge at Addicted to stamps and more. This is my last post too for ATSM. Our new challenge is up on the blog and the theme is PHOTO INSPIRATION. Click here for more details on the challenge and more inspirations from other DT members.
Coming to my take on the challenge
I first secured a water colour paper on a card board o avoid warping as I had planned to use lots of water.
I stamped a background image with versamark ink and gold heat embossed the image.
Then I scribbled few colours on the panel with my zig markers.
Then I sprayed water so that colour moves and blends of its own.
Left the panel to air dry.
Then trimmed the panel into two card fronts.
Foam mounted panel on a red card base.
Heat embossed sentiment and die cut it out.
Matted it with one size big Vellum circle and foam mounted on the card.
Hi.. Friends.. Its been a long time i posted here. I have 2 cards for you today. I wanted to make a shaker card from past few days. So i have one shaker card.
* The panel I used for both cards is same. * I gold heat embossed the floral bloom image on a white CS and applied distress inks. * I die cut the panel with stitched scallop rectangle dies (used both on same panel). * Glued frames together and used doubled foam tape to create my shaker well. * Heat embossed sentiment from Birdie stamp set. * Used different coloured sequins and secured the frame on card base.
This was very easy to put together as most elements were ready.
* I used remainders of frame for this card. * I glued both pieces on an acetate. * Heat embossed image and sentiment from magical fairies on vellum. * Glued the vellum on the panel and the whole panel was mounted on card base with foam tape.
** Only reason to use acetate was to avoid cutting thin strips of foam tape.
Here is my card
Here is the closer look at the panel and sentiment.
Here I am with my second DT post. To be frank I really struggled and liked the process of these 3 cards. I hope you are playing along with our October challenge which is a recipe. Please do read Guidelines carefully before linking your project.
Card #1 ** I masked the card base (1″around the card base), placed the stencil diagonally on the base and secured with masking tape. ** I mixed candid apple distress ink with texture paste, applied it through stencil. Left it dry on its own. ** Die cut the scalloped frame (bigger) with same CS, few vellum fern flourishes and one white fern flourish. ** I double heat embossed the CS fern flourish with gold embossing powder to give it dimension. Die cut few Thank you, adhered them together and heat embossed with white embossing powder. ** To assemble the card, I foam mounted the frame on card base around the stencilled area. I put silver embroidery floss on top of which glued ferns. Added the sentiment.
Here is a close up of die cut embellishments, just love this texture of white embossing powder.
** This was real fun to make. I just kept die cutting stitched bubble die. ** Used distress inks in blue range to blend over them. ** I stamped the image towards bottom and coloured with Staedler water colour pencils. ** Stamped sentiment with black ink. ** Used stitched rectangle die to die cut these panels. ** I glued these panels with liquid glue leaving little space in between.
** This is water colour card. I stamped the flourish image with versa mark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. ** Used zig markers to colour flowers and leaves. ** Die cut the panel and foam mounted it on a grey CS. ** For sentiment, I die cut 2 times with grey CS and once with water colour paper. ** I used Zig marker to add shade to the die cut sentiment. ** Added few sequins.
