Set of cards for an ORGANIZATION

Namaste, welcome to my blog and it’s time for new challenge at HLS blog for dies. The theme is anything goes with dies. More details click here

I came across an organization run by a couple who collects handmade cards for hospitals, patients and healthcare workers. I felt so happy to know because being a reason for someone’s smile is so precious that too when you don’t know the person. If you want to know more about them click here.

So keeping in mind this need I made set of birthday cards. I used Altenew dies, I specially wanted to use the U die. It’s so big that it covers the card panel and you don’t need anything much.

I used die cut inlay and monogram technique for the card set. Here are my cards.

I actually used every bit of the backgrounds I created. Positive and negative of the die cuts are used. I could stretch them even more but held myself. May be next time again.

Is there any personal favourite from this set? Let me know in comments.

New innings with ATSM

Namaste everyone here.. I joined ATSM – Addicted to stamps and more for this term and I am so excited for it. The new challenge at ATSM is Make your mark, details on the challenge are HERE

Off lately I am trying to make other than cards, it’s sometimes better keep you crafty. I made lots and lots of tags last few months and I kind a got bored of them too so thought will make a home decor using my craft supplies

I used Algebra stamps for my project. Coloured with brustro travel kit. Yes, I am working on my water colouring skills. It’s high I use all those supplies and practice more and more.

I really loving how it’s looking after framing
Framing really opened so many possibilities.

Hey there, Swapna at this end. I am here again with our next challenge at Addicted to stamps and more and the challenge is everybody’s favorite “Anything goes”, click here to visit the challenge post and look what other members have to share.

This is my card for the challenge. Over the year I collected alot of critter sets and suddenl I fell in love with florals. So I am waiting to fall back in love with critter sets so that I can use them. Till then I will use my floral sets.

  • I used Altenew Beautiful day set and stamped images with various Altenew inks.
  • Die cut them with coordinating dies.
  • I prepped the card base by putting down light wash of green colour. Then added few splatters of green, pink n black colours.
  • Arranged my florals to one corner.
  • Sentiment is from SSS which was cut to strip and matted on light grey CAS.
  • Flowers were foam mounted where as leaves were glued flat.

Love how those splatters and light wash of  colour adds interest.
I also added few clear droplets.

Altenew painted flower – First try

Hi…
Here I am with a card using Altenew painted flower set.
Its an older set but I couldnt get it for long time. I stamped flower images on a white CS and few leaves with altenew inks, fussy cut the images (easy images to cut).
I masked lower part of card base to heat emboss, used outline images from set and heat embossed with ranged liquid platinum powder.
Heat embossed the sentiment from Persian motif. Adhered the sentiment strip diagonally and another matching thin strip. Arranged flowers few flat and few with foam tape.
