Bright florals for AAA #50

Namaste, welcome to new challenge at AAA birthday challenges. This month the challenge is Water colours. I had few ideas for the card but ended up loving water coloured florals for this month. For more details on the challenge please visit here.

I stamped Altenew image on water colour paper and coloured flowers with Zig markers. I fussy cut image and mounted it on embossed card base, Sentiment is from Altenew label love.

Thats it, my card is ready.

HLS – March challenge – Flowers

Hi.. How people Re. Its first day of the month so its time to New challenge at Happy Little Stampers. This month our challenge is Water colouring with optional twist Flowers. To have a look on the post and what the team has come up please click here.

Here is my take on the challenge.

• I stamped and coloured images from Altenew perfectly perfect stamp set.
• I used my Daniel Smith colour dots to colour.
• I prepped my card base by stamping ink cubes directly on card base.
• I arranged and glued my flowers and leaves on a piece of vellum.
• Flowers were foam mounted and leaves were glued flat.
• The floral arrangement gave me enough space to hide glue.
• Added few sequins and sentiment strip which is from Mama Elephant.

I loved the background. It adds so much interest though its behind the vellum

Bundle of love – Inspired by stamping

Hi.. Friends..
Today I am with my post for Inspired By Stamping. I am still drooling over our July release. If you have not checked then you can here.

Coming to today’s post.
Here is step by step how I made this card. I selected pattern paper from stash and glued it on the a2 side folding card front.

I prepared a panel to stamp on.

I used Misti to make work a little easy. You can use stamping block too. For bloom and leaves I have used 2 colours. Even for sentiment I used 2 colours for ombre look.

CAS with Inspired by stamping

Hi..
I have a CAS card with Inspired by standing stamps.

• I took out all stamps which I planned to used on the card.
• Prepared the card base, its a one layered card.

• I used various Altenew inks to stamp the flowers and leaves.
• I stamped the sentiment with black ink.
• Added few sequins for sparkle.
• I made matching envelope too.

Guest designing at CAS(E)

Hello, I am so excited to be part of CAS(E) as guest designer for the challenge #217

If you have not heard about this challenge then I highly recommend it to you, there will be awesome sketches every week.

Now coming to my take on the sketch

I placed a slightly smaller panel on the card base, stamped outline images from Altenew painted poppy set and stamped with grey ink from Altenew. Then I stamped remaining layers on the smaller panel with Altenew inks. Used grey ink to blend on the card base.

Stamped sentiment from another Altenew stamp with Altenew black ink. Felt like it got lost in flowers so I outlined the words which overlap, I have learnt this trick from Kelly Latevola. Used corner choper to round one corner, then foam mounted the panel on card base and added few clear sequins.

I made this set of cards for a friend.

 Used Altenew lacy scrolls set and altenew crisp inks. Mounted the panels on matching card base with foam tape. Sentiments were stamped with jet black ink from altenew.

Layered die cuts + Altenew painted flower

Hi…

Here I am with another simple card.

 I stamped flowers with altenew inks and fussy cut them. I felt like adding something extra to flowers so i drew few lines over flowers n leaves with versa mark pen and heat embossed with iridescent embossing powder. 

Then I die cut two layers from spellbinders die from white CS, layered them on card base measuring 5×7″.

Sentiment is from Altenew Beautiful day.

Altenew Peony bouquet – Masking

Hi…

Here I am with one layer card with Altenew stamp. I did double masking on this card. First i stamped the flowers and leaves the way it looked nice to me with altenew crisp inks in yellow and green shades, created masks for the same. Then i  cut strips of masking paper n placed them on the stamped CS in diagonal and applied Shabby shutters. I also masked thin area on the CS and blended with same ink.

Stamped the sentiment with altenew Black crisp ink. And finished it with few sequins.
